Hi there
everyone, hope you all enjoyed your cage diving excursion with marine dynamics.
Below is a list of water conditions and stats about the sharks sighted on your
trip, along with the best photos of the day.
Date: 17-04-07
Location: Geldesteen: dyer island
Sea condition: Choppy
Water Temperature: 11.5C
Wind direction: W
Current direction: E
Wind speed: 5kts
Water visibility: 2m
Cloud coverage: 80%
Water depth: 15.0m
Bait Type: Yellowfin and skip jack tuna, sardine oil
Arrival time: 11:30
No of sharks sighted: 7
Respective individual lengths: 3.0m, 4.0m, 3.0m, 2.0-2.5m, 2.5m, 2.5m, 2.5m.
Note: Individuals 1 and 5 were identified as male sharks and individual 2 was a
female. The sharks were very active around the boat giving everyone some
excellent sightings. Very lucky to see some large sharks swimming around the
boat. Individual 1 was a resight from 03-04-07 with 2 short scars on his right

Water Temperature: 12.5C
Wind direction: W
Current direction: E
Wind speed: 15kts
Water visibility: 2m
Cloud coverage: 100%
Water depth: 7.2m
Bait Type: Yellowfin and skip jack tuna, sardine oil
Arrival time: 10:25
No of sharks sighted: 2
Respective individual lengths: 2.5m, 2.5m.
Note: Individual 1 was identified as a male Great White. Unfortunately the
sharks were not too interested in the boat so did not stay around too long.
However, individual 2 did give everyone a good sighting as he went for the bait
and all divers in the cage had a close up look at this. Hope you all enjoyed the
