diving excursion with marine dynamics. Below is a list of water conditions and
stats about the sharks sighted on your trip, along with the best photos of the
day.

Sea condition: Calm
Water Temperature: 12C
Wind direction: NW
Current direction: SE
Wind speed: 5kts
Water visibility: 6m
Cloud coverage: 100%
Water depth: 10.1m
Bait Type: Yellowfin and skip jack tuna, sardine oil
Arrival time: 13:20
No of sharks sighted: 6
Respective individual lengths: 2.0m, 3.0m, 2.5-3.0m, 2.5m, 1.5m, 2.5m.
Note: Individuals 2 and 6 were identified as male sharks and individual 1 was a
female. Number 1 and 2 were very curious so worked well around the boat and gave
some excellent sightings from both the cage and the boat. Visibility was also
very good so all divers entering the cage got a clear look at the sharks. Hope

Bait Type: Yellowfin and skip jack tuna, sardine oil
Arrival time: 11:20 am (2nd anchor)
No of sharks sighted: 7
Respective individual lengths: 2.0m, 2.3m, 2.5-3.0m, 4.0m, 2.0m, 3.0m, 2.0m.
Note: Excellent sightings for all divers entering the cage or simply watching
from the boat! Sharks 3,4 and 5 were identified as males and 1 as a female. Very
lucky to see a shark over 4 meters, dwarfing the cage as he swam past. Also a
seal joined the divers in the cage for a brief visit! possibly a refuge from a
nearby shark?! Great visibility even though water temperature was chilly, hope
everybody enjoyed, many thanks to all.

Note: Shark 5 was identified as a female and individual 6 had a big scar on the
leading edge of the dorsal fin. Everybody entering the cage had great viewing of
the sharks around the boat. Excellent to see the juvenile shark from the
27-03-07 make a reappearance! Even though the conditions were choppy hope

Note: Individuals 4, 5 and 6 were identified as male sharks, number 1 as a
female. Shark 6 in particular was very big with a curled dorsal fin. Shark 5 had
a streamer tag on left hand side of dorsal fin. All divers got a very good view
of the sharks as they were all active around the boat. We were also extremely
lucky to encounter two large sharks approaching the cage at the same time. Many

Respective individual lengths: 1.5m (baby), 2m, 2m, 3m, 2m, 2m
Note: Again another great days viewing, especially nice to see such a juvenile
shark around the boat (very inquisitive!). Individuals 2, 4, 5 and 6 were all
identified as female sharks. Number 3 was identified as a male with a paler grey
dorsal colouration. Excellent visibility allowed us to see the sharks circling
the boat. We were also very fortunate to be accompanied by a fantastic pod of
bottlenose dolphins on the journey back. Many thanks, regards.

Note: Very successful shark trip, very lucky to see them so quickly. Despite
the rough conditions, excellent cage viewings.. some very close up.
Individuals 2,3,7 and 8 were identified as male, and 5 was identified as
female. Shark 6 had a scar on the dorsal fin indicating a satellite tag had
been implanted previously. Water temperature was 16 making the cage a little

Bait Type: Yellowfin and skip jack tuna, sardine oil
Arrival time: 11:30 am
No of sharks sighted: 7
Respective individual lengths: 2.5m, 3.5m, 2.5m, 2.0m, 3.0m, 3.5m, 2.0m
Note: Excellent day of shark sightings, very lucky to see seven great whites in
such a short space of time. Individual one was female and a resight from the
beginning of March known as 'scar lip' (see previous web site shots 1-03-07).
Shark 2 was identified as a female, along with 6 and 7 number 5 was identified
as a male. Visibility decreased inshore however all divers entering the cage got
some very close up views of sharks breaching on the bait etc. water temp was
back up to 16 degrees, comfortable for this time of year. many thanks to all,

Bait Type: Yellowfin and skip jack tuna, sardine oil
Arrival time: 10:55 am
No of sharks sighted: 5
Respective individual lengths: 3.2m, 2.0m, <2.0m, <2.0m, 2.0m.
Note: Very successful day. Individual 1,2 and 5 were all identified as male
sharks, number 2 having some prominent scar markings around the snout area. This
was possibly due to seal predations in the channel. Water temperature was back
up to around 15 degrees, making cage diving more comfortable, and visibility
allowed some nice sightings for all dives braving the cage. many thanks to all,
